Matthew is an attorney at Overman Legal Group. Mr. Taylor is a multi-faceted attorney who focuses on Criminal Defense, Family Law, Civil Litigation, Expungements & Pardons, Wills, Trusts & Estates, and Sports & Entertainment Law. He graduated from Ohio University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s in Sports Business and Business Administration. He worked in professional sports until pursuing his Juris Doctorate at Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he graduated in 2021. During Law School, Matthew was awarded Merit Scholar, Dean’s List, Faculty Honor Roll, Order of the Barristers, Law Review Member, and received five CALI awards.
Before private practice, Matthew had worked for a Federal Judge in the Western District of Oklahoma, spent time working for a Judge on the Court of Criminal Appeals, and briefly worked for the Oklahoma Attorney General. These experiences have given Matthew unique insight and experiences that he can draw upon for any number of legal disputes, defenses, or plaintiffs’ representation.
