Justin Mai specializes in criminal defense. A native Oklahoman, Justin graduated Phi Beta Kappa from OU with a degree in Letters and History in 2015.
While attending law school at OU, he received the โAmerican Jurisprudence Awardโ eight times for earning the top grade in eight different classes, graduating in 2020 with Highest Honors and ranked 4th in his class of approximately 150 students.
After law school, Justin worked at the Oklahoma County Public Defenderโs Office for four years, securing countless dismissals and favorable plea deals along with multiple โNot Guiltyโ verdicts at trial. His fierce advocacy against long odds was featured on the front page of the New York Times on June 25, 2023.
He has represented clients in cases ranging from misdemeanor shoplifting to first-degree murder and has extensive experience helping people dealing with addiction or mental illness gain access to diversion court programs.
