William “Bill” Foster graduated from Arkansas State University where he received a B.A. in Political Science. He then attended law school at the University of Arkansas where he was a member of the Arkansas Law Review, ABA Moot Court Team, and the National Trial Team. He received the honor of having his law review note published by the Arkansas Law Review. 

After completing law school, Bill returned to his home state of Tennessee, where he practiced criminal and civil law at the Law Offices of Lionel R. Barrett, Jr. He then married his wife, Katheleen Guzman, and accompanied her to Oklahoma where she is now Dean of the University of Oklahoma College of Law. While in Oklahoma, Bill has worked for the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System, clerked for Judge Charles S. Chapel at the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals, served as a Judge for the Oklahoma Worker’s Compensation Court, and acted as the co-coach of the National Moot Court Team and an adjunct professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Law.

During his thirty years of practice, Bill has successfully tried criminal and civil cases, argued appellate cases, and helped secure the successful removal of clients from death row in Oklahoma. Bill is licensed to practice law in Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.
