Carly Salthouse was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She moved to Norman, Oklahoma in 2003, where she attended The University of Oklahoma graduating with a bachelor’s degree in International Studies. After graduation she worked at several locally owned restaurants while also playing music in local bands The Workweek, Carly Gwin and the Sin and the regional award-winning group, My So Called Band.

In 2020, she obtained her Paralegal Certification through the Center for Legal Studies, a program accredited through the University of Central Oklahoma. She joined the Overman Legal Group family in August of 2020.
She enjoys singing and playing music, doing crosswords, and hanging with her dog, Dolly.
