Actual Physical Control

Actual physical control (APC) is a special type of charge that does not require you to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated in order to be charged. In order to be charged with APC a person only need be exhibiting some sort of control or dominion over a vehicle while being intoxicated. A good example of this would be sleeping in your car while intoxicated.
